Findings:
HPO approved with conditions that the variance is for the existing Garage of 640 SF to vary by 40 SF from the allowable size of 600 SF. The additional square footage will not impact compliance with the the Townsite Design Review Overlay. The variance request also includes the garage being within the setback on the east boundary. The east facade windows proposed may require shifting to the west for considerations of privacy that are a component of the Townsite design review.
Information:
The Board of Adjustment hearing for the variance is scheduled for May 5, 2021. The HPO is working with the applicant to produced the required documentation and drawings to be presented to the Heritage Preservation Commission for Townsite design review under a Certificate of Appropriateness after the Board of Adjustment case is decided.
