Consideration and Adoption of Resolution No. 2024-48: A resolution of the Flagstaff City Council, declaring official and adopting the results of the General/Special Election held on November 5, 2024.

Executive Summary:
Resolution No. 2024-48 summarizes the results of the recent General/Special Election held on November 5, 2024, as indicated in the Final Results received from Coconino County Elections Department. With 34,815 ballots cast, Flagstaff experienced an 84% voter turnout.
The results indicate that the following individuals have been elected: Becky Daggett Mayor; Miranda Sweet, Councilmember; Anthony Garcia, Councilmember; David Spence, Councilmember. Additionally, Proposition 487 - Continuation of the City Lodging, Restaurant and Lounge (BBB) Transaction Privilege Tax through June 30, 2043 and Proposition 488 - Continuation and Increase of the Local Public Transit Transaction Privilege Tax were approved. The new members will be sworn into office on December 17, 2024.
