Information, discussion and feedback

Staff will review the completed progress and upcoming engagement activities for the 2025-2026 update to the Carbon Neutrality Plan. Staff will seek Commission feedback on all aspects of the Update.

Progress review:

• Plan consolidation and re-organization.
• Accountability tools.
• Incorporation of the 2012 Resiliency and Preparedness Study.
• Implementation actions: movement out of the Plan to ensure flexibility and transparency.
• Highlighting resilience connections

Upcoming engagement activities:

• Climate and Coffee events
• Open Houses: mid-September
• Council Update: October 14th
• Equity scan with the Equity-Climate Advisory Group
