DESIRED OUTCOME:
To provide an update on the improvements and efficiencies made in the Solid Waste Section during recent years. To review the financial status of the operations component of the Solid Waste Fund and seek direction from City Council on options to consider for balancing the Solid Waste Fund in Fiscal Year 2026-2027.
Executive Summary:
This presentation is a review of the 2025 solid waste operational changes and how the section and fund have performed since the changes. The goal of the presentation is to review key topics of interest and discuss further opportunities to balance the Solid Waste enterprise fund.
