Discussion and Direction: Joint Meetings with Community Partners
STAFF RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Direction concerning future joint City Council meetings with community partners.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City Council holds regular joint meetings with the Coconino County Board of Supervisors. Over the last year, NAU and the Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce have also been asked to join the Council for a joint meeting. Staff is seeking direction concerning the continuation of these community partner joint meetings on an ongoing basis.
INFORMATION:
Special meetings, such as a joint meeting, are generally held in months that there are five Tuesdays. The following dates have been tentatively scheduled for joint meetings in 2020 (pending schedule confirmation):
- Monday, March 23, 2020
- Monday, May 18, 2020
- Monday, June 22, 2020
- September 21, 2020
