Citizen Petition: Consideration of Prior Council Action: Consideration and Approval of Contract: Approve a Cooperative Purchase Contract with General Acrylics, Inc., in the total amount of $920,642.42 to design and build eight pickleball courts and overlay existing tennis and basketball courts at Bushmaster Park.
STAFF RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Should the Council wish to consider this prior action, a motion to consider the prior action of Council regarding the Cooperative Purchase Contract with General Acrylics, Inc., in the total amount of $920,642.42 to design and build eight pickleball courts and overlay existing tennis and basketball courts at Bushmaster Park would be required to be made.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On May 16 the City Council approved a Cooperative Purchase Contract with General Acrylics, Inc., in the total amount of $920,642.42 to design and build eight pickleball courts and overlay existing tennis and basketball courts at Bushmaster Park would be required to be made.
On June 6 the City Council considered and advanced a Citizen Petition requesting that Council reconsider their decision regarding the pickleball courts at Bushmaster Park.
Should there be a majority vote to consider the prior action of Council, the next agenda item would be the consideration of the original contract with General Acrylics.
