Consideration and Approval of Project Fund Disbursement: Authorize the transfer of funds from a jointly managed restricted account with the National Park Service and approve the project recommendation made by the Lake Mary - Walnut Creek Technical Advisory Committee
STAFF RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Authorize the transfer of $19,000 from a jointly managed restricted account with the National Park Service to a City account to use towards funding the Lake Mary-Walnut Canyon Technical Advisory Committee's recommendation to continue funding the U.S. Geological Survey for the operation and maintenance of a stream gauge located within Newman Canyon through September 2024.
B.
Consideration and Approval of Contract: JE Fuller Hydrology & Geomorphology, Inc. for the Flood Alert Gauge Network Expansion Project in the amount of $112,800.
STAFF RECOMMENDED ACTION:
- Approve the contract with JE Fuller Hydrology & Geomorphology, Inc. in the amount of $112,800; and
- Authorize the City Manager to execute the necessary documents.
C.
Consideration and Approval of Contract:
Approve the construction contract with Revolution Industrial, LLC in the amount of $589,819.00 for the Industrial Waterline Replacement.
STAFF RECOMMENDED ACTION:
- Approve the construction contract with Revolution Industrial, LLC in the amount of $589,819.00 with a contract duration of 112 calendar days;
- Approve a contract allowance of $43,642.50, which is 7.5% of the Engineer's Estimate;
- Approve Change Order Authority to the City Manager in the amount of $58,981.90 which is 10% of the lowest responsive bid;
- Authorize the City Manager to execute the necessary documents.
D.
Consideration and Approval of BNSF Railway Preliminary Engineering Agreement Supplement: Rio de Flag Flood Control Project Construction Document Review.
STAFF RECOMMENDED ACTION:
- Approve the Preliminary Engineering Agreement Supplement (Agreement Supplement) with BNSF Railway (BNSF) in an additional amount of $183,000 for a total expenditure not to exceed $213,000; and
- Authorize the City Manager to execute the necessary documents.
