Land  Acknowledgment
 
The Flagstaff City Council humbly acknowledges the ancestral homelands of this area's Indigenous nations and original stewards. These lands, still inhabited by Native descendants, border mountains sacred to Indigenous peoples. We honor them, their legacies, their traditions, and their continued contributions. We celebrate their past, present, and future generations who will forever know this place as home.

Public Comment

At this time, any member of the public may address the Commission on any subject within their jurisdiction that is not scheduled before the Commission on that day. Due to Open Meeting Laws, the Commission cannot discuss or act on items presented during this portion of the agenda. To address the Commission on an item that is on the agenda, please wait for the Chair to call for Public Comment at the time the item is heard. (Three minutes maximum per individual)

GENERAL BUSINESS
 
A.
City of Flagstaff (COF) Regional Plan in 60 Day Review

Ms. Sara Dechter, Comprehensive Planning Manager, will provide a PPT presentation on the current status of the COF Regional Plan. She will go through what is expected during the 60 Day Review and have Commissioners become aware of for communicating out to community members.
 
B.
Native American Heritage Month

Confirmation and details on the showing of the Hulu episode:  Out There: Crimes of the Paranormal, The Shape-Shifting Defense. There is also a possibility of another online presentation from an Indigenous chef for NAHM.
 
6.
DISCUSSION ITEMS

If time permits, there will be an update on the applications for the Indigenous Commission. Resignation of Commissioner Lauren Kaibetoney.
