Flagstaff Regional Land Use Plan 2045
Listen to the presentation from City staff Elsa Erling on the Flagstaff Regional Land Use Plan 2045.
City residents will receive a special election ballot in April to ratify or not ratify the Flagstaff Regional Land Use Plan 2045 under Question 492. The Comprehensive Planning staff has prepared a short presentation and will be visiting with boards and commissions during Public Comment to share election information. Ballots are due on May 19th.

PSPRS Membership Eligibility Determination – Temporary Assignment, Fire Captain Paramedic Casey Gonzales
Discuss and vote on membership eligibility for Fire Captain Casey Gonzales to remain in PSPRS.
Fire Captain Paramedic Casey Gonzales will be on a temporary assignment in Dispatch. Casey will remain in the Fire Captain Paramedic classification during this temporary assignment with the understanding that he continues to serve in his fire capacity as needed (e.g., call-outs, shift coverage, etc.).

Hearing of the Application for a Line of Duty Death for Gerald "Jerry" Bills
Discuss and vote on the Line of Duty Death application for Gerald Bills.
Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) and other applicable agencies require Local Board approval to formally designate a death as a Line of Duty Death. This designation ensures that eligible survivor benefits are administered in accordance with statutory requirements and agency policies. As part of the review process, an independent medical examination was completed to evaluate the circumstances and medical factors related to the death. The Local Board's review and determination confirm whether the circumstances meet the criteria established under PSPRS and applicable law.
