Introduction of Chris Kimmerly, the Housing Commission's newly appointed Commissioner in the Building and Real Estate Professionals category.

Discussion and Direction: Establish 2020 Attainable Housing Bond Measure Priority Projects and Amounts for City Council Recommendations.

- Review and discuss attainable housing bond recommendations from the following informal working groups:
- Emergency Housing: Ms. Bloom introduced working group to present discussion item. Group consisted of Commissioners Altenbaugh and House. Commisisioner O'Loughlin also part of working group, but absent. Questions and answers provided.
- Rental Housing: Ms. Bloom introduced working group to present discussion item. Group consisted of Commissioners House, Altenbaugh, McLaughlin, and Deboer-Ayrey. Questions and answers provided.
- Homeownership: Ms. Bloom introduced working group to present discussion item. Group consisted of Commissioners McLaughlin and Flores. Commissioners Riggs and Davis also part of the group, but absent. Questions and answers provided.
- Finalize attainable housing recommendations
Housing Section staff provided Commissioners with working spreadsheet to aid in determining Council recommendations.
Chair Ellman opened it up for public comments on this topic only:
Mr. Al White provided comments and suggested adding infrastructure on already owned City land.
Mr. Joe Galli, from the Chamber of Commerce, provided comments and expressed his lack of support for the bond. Commissioner Esquivel responded with questions.
Housing Commissioners continued discussion by commenting and asking questions to determine recommendations for Council, with assistance from Housing Section staff and the working spreadsheet.

Moved by Ross Altenbaugh, seconded by Khara House to approve the Housing Commission’s 2020 Attainable Housing Bond Recommendations for City Council’s consideration at the March 3 Regular Council Meeting.

INFORMATIONAL ITEMS TO/FROM COMMISSION MEMBERS, STAFF, AND FUTURE AGENDA ITEM REQUESTS
Chair Ellman encouraged Commissioners to take binders home and attend Council meeting next week. Reminder to not comment on behalf of Commission. Councilman Odegaard encouraged staff and Commission to provide comments at said Council meeting. Questions asked by Commissioners.
