Approval of the minutes from the meeting on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
Moved by Carole Mandino, seconded by P. Lloyd Paul to approve minutes of the regular meeting of April 14, 2021 as submitted.
Vote: 6 - 0 - Unanimously
Staff recommends the Planning and Zoning Commission, in accordance with the findings presented in this report, find that the required findings of the Zoning Code have been met, and make a recommendation to the City Council for approval of the Zoning Code Text Amendment.
Moved by Carole Mandino, seconded by Eric Nolan PZ-21-00056 to amend the Zoning Code to modify the existing Medical Marijuana land use and application provisions to address Proposition 207 – Smart and Safe Arizona Act (recreational use of marijuana) that was approved by the Arizona voters in November 2020.with a recommendation to City Council for approval of the zoning code text amendments in the accordance with the findings in the submitted report

STAFF RECOMMENDED ACTION:
The Planning and Zoning Commission has the discretion to approve signage that exceeds the sign standards with the review and approval of a Comprehensive Sign Program.
Jeff Wells, Signarama, gave a brief description on the proposed addendum
Sharon Beck, Owner representative, was present and briefly discussed the addendum
Tamara Orisa, site manager, spoke to the health and safety aspects of the proposed sign addendum
Moved by David Zimmerman, seconded by Carole Mandino to approve the signage addendum request for The Village at Aspen Place at 601 E Piccadilly Dr as submitted
