Call to Order

Vice Mayor Daggett called the Special Meeting (Executive Session) to order at 10:05 a.m.

MAYOR DEASY (virtually, arrived at 10:13 a.m.)
VICE MAYOR DAGGETT (virtually)
COUNCILMEMBER ASLAN (virtually)

COUNCILMEMBER SALAS (virtually)
COUNCILMEMBER SHIMONI (virtually)
COUNCILMEMBER SWEET (virtually)

ABSENT:

Others present: City Manager Greg Clifton; City Attorney Sterling Solomon.

Recess into Executive Session

Moved by Councilmember Jim McCarthy, seconded by Councilmember Austin Aslan to recess into Executive Session.

Vote: 6 - 0 - Unanimously

Executive Session:

Discussion or consultation for legal advice with the attorney or attorneys of the public body; and discussion or consultation with the attorneys of the public body in order to consider its position and instruct its attorneys regarding the public body's position regarding contracts that are the subject of negotiations, in pending or contemplated litigation or in settlement discussions conducted in order to avoid or resolve litigation, pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3) and (4), respectively.

The Special Meeting (Executive Session) of the Flagstaff City Council held January 22, 2021, reconvened into Open Session at 5:45 p.m. at which time the meeting adjourned.
