Call to Order

Mayor Nabours called the Special Meeting (Executive Session) of September 29, 2015, to order at 4:01 p.m.

Recess into Executive Session.

Executive Session:

Moved by Mayor Jerry Nabours, seconded by Councilmember Karla Brewster

to recess into Executive Session.

Vote: 7 - 0 - Unanimously

The Flagstaff City Council recessed into Executive Session at 4:03 p.m.

Discussion or consultation for legal advice with the attorney or attorneys of the public body, pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.03(A)(3).

i. Constitutional Issues and Panhandling

Discussion or consultation for legal advice with the attorney or attorneys of the public body, and discussion or consultation with the attorneys of the public body in order to consider its position and instruct its attorneys regarding the public body's position regarding contracts that are the subject of negotiations, in pending or contemplated litigation or in settlement discussions conducted in order to avoid or resolve litigation, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03(A)(3) and (4), respectively.

i. Juniper Point Contract Negotiations

Discussion or consultation for legal advice with the attorney or attorneys of the public body, and discussions or consultations with designated representatives of the public body in order to consider its position and instruct its representatives regarding negotiations for the purchase, sale or lease of real property, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03(A)(3) and (7), respectively.

i. Property negotiations - Poleta Court

Discussion or consultation for legal advice with the attorney or attorneys of the public body; and discussion or consultation with the attorneys of the public body in order to consider its position and instruct its attorneys regarding the public body's position regarding contracts that are the subject of negotiations, in pending or contemplated litigation or in settlement discussions conducted in order to avoid or resolve litigation, pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3) and (4), respectively.

i. Settlement Offer re Flagstaff Senior Meadow

The Flagstaff City Council reconvened into Open Session at 5:52 p.m. at which time the Special Meeting (Executive Session) of September 29, 2015, adjourned.
