Call to Order
Mayor Daggett called the Special Meeting to order at 1:02 p.m.

Councilmember Spence joined the meeting at 1:11 p.m.

Recess into Executive Session
Moved by Councilmember Lori Matthews, seconded by Vice Mayor Miranda Sweet to recess into Executive Session.
Vote: 6 - 0 - Unanimously

Discussion or consultation for legal advice with the attorney or attorneys of the public body, discussion or consultation with the attorneys of the public body in order to consider its position and instruct its attorneys regarding the public body's position regarding contracts that are the subject of negotiations, in pending or contemplated litigation or in settlement discussions conducted in order to avoid or resolve litigation, and discussions or consultations with designated representatives of the public body in order to consider its position and instruct its representatives regarding negotiations for the purchase, sale or lease of real property, pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3), (4), and (7), respectively
i.
Discussions or consultations with designated representatives of the public body in order to consider its position and instruct its representatives regarding the potential acquisition and or preservation of the Orpheum Theater and legal advice regarding same.
ii.
Discussions or consultations with designated representatives of the public body in order to consider its position and instruct its representatives regarding the potential acquisition of property located at 320 N. Humphreys Street and legal advice regarding same.

Reconvene Special Meeting
The Council reconvened into Open Session at 1:55 p.m.
7.
Mayor and Council possible direction regarding Executive Session
Moved by Councilmember Lori Matthews, seconded by Councilmember David Spence Direct and authorize the City Attorney and/or designated city representative to proceed as discussed in executive session items listed in Item(s) 5Ai and 5Aii.
Vote: 7 - 0 - Unanimously
