SUBJECT:
Request award of the Lincoln Park Neighborhood Improvements construction contract to the low bidder, Timothy Rose Contracting, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $500,341.55.
SUMMARY:
Of the five (5) respondents replying to the City's Request for Construction Bids, Timothy Rose Contracting, Inc. submitted the lowest bid. The proposed work includes milling, resurfacing, drainage upgrades, concrete sidewalks, and curb & gutter installation along 10th Street (Ave. D to Moore's Creek), Dundas Court and 9th Street (Ave. D to Ave. C), 8th Street (Moore's Creek to Ave. C) and Avenue C (7th Street to 10th Street).
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends award of the construction contract to the low bidder, Timothy Rose Contracting, Inc.
ALTERNATIVES:
Award the contract to another bidder or re-bid the project.
