Discussion on Mayor and Commissioner appointments to existing Boards and Committees for 2015 and invitation to appoint a representative to the Advisory Committee of the Spay/Neuter Alliance of the Treasure Coast. 

Attached you will find a spreadsheet that lists all of the Boards and Committees served on by the Mayor and Commissioners during the 2014 calendar year which includes time, day and location of meetings.   The list is being provided for your benefit and discussion to determine if any changes are desired.

Additionally, the City has been invited to appoint a representative to the Advisory Committee of the Spay/Neuter Alliance of the Treasure Coast.   The committee meets quarterly and consists of seven volunteers including two veterinarians, Martin County Commissioner Sarah Heard, Pegagus founder Barbara Birdsey, and three other individuals who have demonstrated concern for companion animal issues.  They serve in an advisory capacity to the Alliance which was formed in 2010 for the sole purpose of promoting spaying and neutering of companion animals as the primary method of limiting pet overpopulation in Martin and St. Lucie Counties.
