SUBJECT:

Approve an Agreement with the Martin Luther King, Jr., Commemorative Committee Inc. of St. Lucie County to advance funds in order to facilitate the rehabilitation of the Lincoln Theater with monies being fully reimbursed upon the committee's receipt of funds from the State of Florida Grant titled "Lincoln Theater Facade Renovation & Theater Marquee Acquisition and Installation."

SUMMARY:

This Agreement serves to advance the public interest of the City of Fort Pierce to support neighborhood rehabilitation by facilitating the renovation of an historic city landmark. Any funds advanced to the Martin Luther King, Jr., Commemorative Committee Inc. of St. Lucie County shall not be used for any purpose outside the Grant Agreement parameters and, upon receipt of grant funds from the State of Florida, the recipient will reimburse the City advanced funds within fifteen (15) days.
