SUBJECT:
Resolution 20-R20 Extending the Declaration of Local Emergency
SUMMARY:
The Mayor of the City of Fort Pierce declared a state of local emergency on March 17, 2020 pursuant to Sections 252.36, 252.46 and 252.38, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 2, Article XV.5. Emergencies - Disaster, Sections 2-282 through 2-290 of the Code of Ordinances and the Declaration was filed with the St. Lucie County Clerk of the Court, file number 4688613 on March 17, 2020. This resolution extends the local state of emergency to run concurrently with the Governor's Executive Order 20-52.
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Resolution 20-R20.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not adopt or adopt with modifications.
