SUBJECT:
Approval of traffic equipment purchase from Econolite Group Inc. of Jacksonville, FL in the amount of $79,400.00.
SUMMARY:
This is an annual purchase for traffic signal equipment from Econolite Group which is the City's sole source provider for traffic operations equipment. The equipment is used for day to day operations, intersection updates and repairs.
It is on this basis that the Purchasing Manager recommend that competitive procurement be waived and that the above item be treated as a "Sole Source" commodity.
