SUBJECT:

Approval of Johnson-Davis, Inc. SA No. 3, Change Order No. 1, in the amount of $12,003.20.

SUMMARY:

The original S. 2nd Street construction project proposed the construction of an exfiltration trench system and associated storm inlets, and roadway repair work at the south end of S. 2nd Street.  Existing conditions of the area warranted extending the limits of construction which increased associated quantities and project cost.  Approval of this change order will provide additional compensation to the contractor for the unforeseen project expenses.  

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval.

ALTERNATIVES:

Deny and leave the project unfinished.
