SUBJECT:
Request by Ms. Gertrude Elliot to reduce lien in the amount of $75,750.00 to $500.00.
SUMMARY:
Ms. Elliot recently sustained an injury, which caused her to be placed in an assisted living facility for an extended period of time. During this time, no maintenance was done at her property causing code violations. After her release from the assisted living facility and upon her return home, she immediately resolved the violations. Both parties agreed to a reduced amount of $500.00 to cover administration costs of the City, which was reviewed and approved by the Special Magistrate.
RECOMMENDATION:
Agree to reduce the lien of $75,750 to $500.00.
