SUBJECT:
Approval of Engineering Design & Construction, Inc. (EDC) Specific Authorization No. 7 in the amount not to exceed $92,575 for Avenue D roadway improvements.
SUMMARY:
This specific authorization will provide professional design services for the proposed Avenue D roadway improvements. The portion of Avenue D located between Indian River Drive and U.S. Highway 1 is slated for reconstruction complete with new drainage facilities, curb & gutter, sidewalks, lighting, and landscaping. Avenue D between U.S. Highway 1 and 29th Street, will be milled and repaved. New stamped asphalt crosswalks along with associated ADA upgrades will be constructed where the current brick paver crosswalks exist. Funding of the $92,575 was approved by the FPRA board during the November 9, 2021 meeting.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval.

Deny and contract with another continuing service provider chosen under RFQ 2019-027 process.
