SUBJECT:
Reduce code enforcement fines in the amount of $47,790.00 against 1507 Florida Avenue owned by Asnel Pierre, 7502 Santa Clare Boulevard, Ft. Pierce, FL 34951 to $600.00 payable in 60 days.
SUMMARY:
BACKGROUND: Lien was placed against Mr. Pierre in January 2015. The violation was for outside storage, which was corrected by Mr. Pierre, but not within the time provided by the Code Enforcement Board. This is Mr. Pierre's first and only interaction with code enforcement.
REQUEST: Mr. Pierre is requesting the fines in the amount of $47,790.00 be reduced by $47,190.00 leaving a balance due of $600.00.

RECOMMENDATION:
The Code Enforcement Board heard Mr. Pierre's request and recommends that the City Commission reduce the lien to $600.00 to cover the administrative expenses of the city, payable in 60 days.
