SUBJECT:
Approve recommendation from Arts and Culture Advisory Board to issue a Call to Artist for Sculptures at City Hall.
SUMMARY:
At the previous Arts and Culture Advisory Board meeting on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, the Board recommended advertising a call to local artist for sculptures at City Hall. Currently, there are two vacant concrete pads in the front of City Hall where sculptures can be placed. This initiative would include an Artwork Loan Agreement with the artist that was selected. Their sculpture would be placed on one of the vacant pads for a specified amount of time and then return to the artist once their time has come to an end. The Arts and Culture Advisory Board believes this is a good way to showcase local art here in the Fort Pierce Community.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend approval as presented to the City Commission.

Proceed as directed by the City Commission.
