SUBJECT:
Approve award of the Avenue B Reconstruction (from 13th Street to 8th Street) Bid No. 2022-016 to Heavy Civil, Inc. in the amount of $1,112,846.96.
SUMMARY:
The Avenue B Reconstruction Project from 13th Street to 8th Street includes the complete reconstruction of the roadway, installation of new sidewalks, drainage, and upgrades to signage and pavement markings. FPUA has already completed their upgrades to underground utilities.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval
ALTERNATIVES:
Deny and award to the next lowest bidder or re-advertise for bids.
