SUBJECT:

City Initiated Future Land Use Map Amendment - St. Peters Church - 2900 S. Jenkins Road

SUMMARY:

  • the applicant is requesting the review and approval of a Rezoning from R-2, Single Family Intermediate Density, to C-3, General Commercial, and a FLUMA from RM, Residential Medium Density, to GC, General Commercial.
     

RECOMMENDATION:

The requested Application for Zoning Atlas Map Amendment and Future Land Use Map Amendment meets the criteria specified in Section 125-136 of the City Code, the Comprehensive Plan, and does not adversely affect the public health, safety, convenience, and general welfare. Therefore, Staff recommends APPROVAL of the proposed Rezoning from Single-Family Intermediate Density (R-2) to General Commercial Zone (C-3) and the proposed Future Land Use Map Amendment from Residential Medium Density (RM) to General Commercial (GC).
