SUBJECT:
Approval of Specific Authorization No. 5 in an amount not to exceed $68,862.50 for construction engineering inspection (CEI) services relating to the Georgia Avenue Drainage Basin Water Quality Improvement construction project.
SUMMARY:
The City of Fort Pierce was a recipient of a $1,188,000 St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) Grant for a project identified as Georgia Avenue Drainage Basin Water Quality Improvements. The proposed construction includes the introduction of Best Management Practices (BMP) Treatment Trains for the 235-acre drainage basin at multiple stormwater inflow points. All construction activities are proposed to occur on or near the Indian Hills Golf Course property. The project activities will require CEI oversight to ensure compliance with the grant requirements, approved plans, and specifications.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval.
