Conditional Use- Telecommunications Tower- 1601 N. 25th Street
SUMMARY:
- The applicant is seeking a Conditional Use with New Construction & Design Review approval to construct a telecommunications tower at 1601 N 25th Street.
- The structure that is proposed is a one hundred and sixty (160) foot slim pole communications tower
- The property is zoned C-3, General Commercial with a Future Land-Use of RM, Medium Density Residential
- The communications tower will be located on the vacant part of the parcel. The property is located at the northwest corner of 25th Street and Avenue O. The surrounding uses are medium density residential to the north, south and west and commercial to the east.
RECOMMENDATION:
The proposed use offers a provision of a wireless communication tower representing a limited commercial use that is compatible with the surrounding neighborhood and is generally consistent with the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code with appropriate restrictions. Therefore, Staff recommends APPROVAL.
