SUBJECT:
Approval of the Moore's Creek Boat Ramp Site Dedication to the public as a boating access facility for the use and benefit of the general public for a minimum period of twenty (20) years in accordance Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) Florida Boating Improvement Program (FBIP) Grant Agreement No. 18069.
SUMMARY:
On April 15, 2019 the City approved the Moore's Creek Boat Ramp Improvements Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) Florida Boating Improvement Program (FBIP) Grant Agreement No. 18069. The Grant provides for a reimbursement not to exceed $72,500 for improvements to the Moore's Creek Boat Ramp. Improvements were completed on September 27, 2019. Per the Grant Agreement language, a Site Dedication must be submitted with a final invoice to the FWC. The Site Dedication is attached to this agenda item.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the Site Dedication for the Moore's Creek Boat Ramp.
ALTERNATIVES:
If the Site Dedication is not approved, the reimbursement for project eligible expenses will not be received.
