SUBJECT:
Approve Johnson Controls to provide for Fire Alarm & Voice Panel Replacements to the Sunrise Theatre as a single source in the total amount of $67,159.00.
SUMMARY:
The current Fire Alarm & Voice Panel at the Sunrise Theatre is in need of replacement parts. This proposal is for the fire panel component replacement only - Simplex 4010 to a Simplex 4010ES and Simplex 4003 to a Simplex 4003EC - overall a Fire Alarm upgrade. The existing system was originally installed by Johnson Controls and is a single source vendor with the Sunrise Theatre/City of Fort Pierce. The total project amount is $67,159.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Johnson Controls to provide services to the Sunrise Theatre in the amount of $67,159.
ALTERNATIVES:
Find an alternative vendor that may or may not meet all requirements of existing Fire Alarm system.
