Approval to authorize staff to enter into negotiations with Caniera Gardner of Incubate Neighborhood, the highest rank responder to RFP 2022-023, to lease and improve 1,982 square feet of mixed-use shared space in the Means Court Center, located at 532 N 13th Street. 

On October 18, 2022, RFP 2022-023 Evaluation Committee met to review and rank the two proposals submitted in response to the request for proposal to lease and improve 1,982 square feet of mixed-use shared space in the Means Court Center. Two (2) proposals were received from Incubate Neighborhood Center, of Fort Pierce, FL, and Lincoln Park Mainstreet, of Fort Pierce, FL.

The committee evaluated and ranked each proposal based on the following criteria: concept proposed for utilizing the space to include programming, events, community engagement, and activities; meet or exceed the goals of the FPRA to restore neighborhoods, foster arts and culture, "re-set" the economic base, and connect the community; business plan describing the organization's core activities and how it plans to achieve its goals; and qualifications and experience of the proposer.

The cumulative scores are listed below:

2. Lincoln Park Mainstreet - 415

Authorize staff to enter into negotiations with Caniera Gardner of Incubate Neighborhood Center.

Staff will proceed as directed by the FPRA Board.
