SUBJECT:

RFP 2023-029 Disposal of Surplus Property – N 25th St Lot 1 & 2
Parcel ID #’s: 2408-501-0066-000-6 & 2408-501-0067-000-3

SUMMARY:

The City of Fort Pierce is the owner of real property located at TBD N 25th St, identified by Parcel IDs: 2408-501-0066-000-6 & 2408-501-0067-000-3, with a legal description of: EMANCIPATION PARK BLK 5 LOT 1-LESS E 10 FT and EMANCIPATION PARK BLK 5 LOT 2-LESS E 10 FT. The properties were declared surplus by the Fort Pierce City Commission on January 19, 2021, via Resolution 21-R10. Request for Proposal (RFP) number 2023-029 was issued on February 10, 2023. The invitation was sent to 521 vendors. Nine (9) vendors requested specifications with four (4) responding.

RECOMMENDATION:

In accordance with the Fort Pierce Code of Ordinances, Section 101-23 (4), staff recommends the Planning Board review the request and forward a recommendation to the City Commission for approval of the sale of real property located at TBD N 25th St, identified by Parcel IDs: 2408-501-0066-000-6 & 2408-501-0067-000-3, with a legal description of: EMANCIPATION PARK BLK 5 LOT 1-LESS E 10 FT and EMANCIPATION PARK BLK 5 LOT 2-LESS E 10 FT to Larry Lee Jr. & Family, LLC. pending receipt of 10% percent security deposit.
