SUBJECT:

RFP 2023-020 Disposal of Surplus Property – 706 N. 20th Street

SUMMARY:

The City of Fort Pierce is the owner of real property located at 706 N 20th St, identified by Parcel ID: 2404-715-0019-000-7, with a legal description of: AMENDED PLAT OF WASHINGTON HEIGHTS ADDN LOT 17. The property was declared surplus by the Fort Pierce City Commission on April 19, 2021, via Resolution 21-R18. Request for Proposal (RFP) number 2023-020 was issued on February 2, 2023. The invitation was sent to 518 vendors. Six (6) vendors requested specifications with one (1) responding.

City staff evaluated the responses cumulatively as follows:

RECOMMENDATION:

In accordance with the Fort Pierce Code of Ordinances, Section 101-23 (4), staff recommends the Planning Board review the request and forward a recommendation to the City Commission for approval of the sale of real property located at 706 N 20th St, identified by Parcel ID: 2404-715-0019-000-7, with a legal description of: AMENDED PLAT OF WASHINGTON HEIGHTS ADDN LOT 17 to 2ND Generation Building Corp. pending receipt of 10% percent security deposit.

Do not recommend award.
