SUBJECT:
Approval of extension request for 727 S. 11th Street to extend deadline by 150 days from date of Commission Meeting to pour a foundation for residential construction.
SUMMARY:
Surplus property 727 S. 11th Street was sold to KIB Construction Corp.for $8,000.00 on May 10, 2021, with a deed restriction indicating that the grantee was required to pour a foundation for residential construction on the Property within two (2) years.
KIB Construction submitted their building permit application in June 2023 and will pour the foundation by the end of October 2023. KIB is requesting an extension to allow them to meet the requirement.

RECOMMENDATION:
Provide KIB Construction Corp. a 150-day extension from the date of the meeting to pour a foundation.
ALTERNATIVES:
Re-enter the property and revert the property to Grantor, its successors and assigns as per Quit Claim Deed.
