SUBJECT:
Request authorization to contract with the low proposer, Johnson-Davis, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $40,200 for emergency drainage repair work on the South 33rd Street drainage canal located between Tennessee Avenue and Virginia Avenue.
SUMMARY:
The existing sand- cement headwall has deteriorated to a point beyond repair and construction of two (2) new end pipe treatments along with pipe extension and driveway re-construction is required. Due to the urgency of this repair, staff requested proposals from three (3) contractors with Johnson-Davis, Inc. submitting the lowest price.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend approval.
