Resolution 23-R47 Order and appeal of Special Magistrate Order on Case No. 96-6085 Code Enforcement Lien for property located at 909 N 13th Street.

The City has received a request of an appeal of the Special Magistrate Order on Code Enforcement Lien Reduction Hearing on June 21, 2023.    The Order states that the liens amounting to the sum of $25,768.50 are hereby reduced to the amount of $5,000.00, inclusive of the $250.00 application fee, and the Owner shall pay to the City of Fort Pierce, Florida, at 100 N US Hwy '1 , Fort Pierce, FL 34950, said sum within 24 months of the date of this Order.

The options are as follows based upon competent substantial evidence contained in the record provided and oral arguments of the appellant and staff:  

• The City Commission affirms the Special Magistrate Order of June 17, 2023.
• The City Commission imposes the allowable appeal fee of $250.00 to be paid within 15 days of this order.
• The City Commission reverses the Order of the Special Magistrate and orders something different as specified.
