Peacock Arts District Mural Program Update
SUMMARY:
As part of the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency’s (FPRA) goal to foster arts and culture, the Peacock Arts District (PAD) Mural Program was successfully implemented during the 2022-2023 fiscal year as the first phase of a two-phased approach towards further establishing the PAD. To continue with the effort of creating more visually pleasing art and eliminating slum and blight within the FPRA boundary, the Board approved an additional funding of $50,000 for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. A program plan will be presented by staff.
