SUBJECT:
Request approval of Dunkelberger Engineering and Testing, Inc. proposal for materials testing and pile driving inspection services in the amount of $17,810.00.
SUMMARY:
Dunkelberger Engineering was the provider of geotechnical services for the phase I of the Indian Hills Recreation Area Stormwater Improvements. Engineering is requesting this proposal be awarded to the same firm for the second phase of the project. Dunkelberger is on the City's approved shortlist for geotechnical services (reference RFQ #6005) has completed the first phase to the satisfaction of the city and is prepared to provide the additional services for phase II.
RECOMMENDATION:
Engineering recommends approval of the proposed contract for geotechnical services.
ALTERNATIVES:
Request a proposal from the next ranked firm on the approved short list.
