SUBJECT:
Request for Commercial Facade Grant extension of 809 Delaware Avenue by Dean Properties, LLC; deadline for completion of the project is February 26, 2024.
SUMMARY:
The FPRA Board granted a Commercial Facade Grant to Dean Properties LLC for 809 Delaware Avenue on April 12, 2022. The initial project timeline requirement of the executed agreement for the Commercial Facade Grant was six months from the effective date to obtain building permits. The original date to obtain the building permit was October 12, 2022.
At the FPRA Board meeting, September 13, 2022, the FPRA Board approved a request for a 45-day extension to obtain the building permits extending it to November 26, 2022.
At the FPRA Board meeting, November 8, 2022, the FPRA Board approved a second request allowing an additional 90-day extension to obtain the building permits for the project. The new deadline to obtain building permits was February 26, 2023, and the deadline for the project completion is February 26, 2024.
Darryl Bey, from Dean Properties, LLC, is requesting an additional extension until June 30, 2024, to complete the facade grant project.
