Request for review of application for a Zoning Atlas Map Amendment of two (2) parcels of land to change the Zoning classification from Agricultural (1 du/ac) (AG-1) (St. Lucie County Zoning) to Planned Development (PD). Applicant Dan Sorrow of Cotleur & Hearing is proposing 317 residential units and a large preserve and recreational park with pedestrian trails on the western portion of the site which surrounds quality habitat, wetlands, and the Ten-Mile Creek. The approximately 76.97 acre site is located at or near Gordy Road, south of Okeechobee Road and west of the Turnpike, more specifically at Parcel ID(s): 2326-130-0000-000-7 and 2326-130-0000-010-0.
