SUBJECT:
Approval to appoint an employee, Junelly Jimenez-Sebastiano, Payroll and Benefits Coordinator, to serve as the alternate member of the Public Risk Management of Florida Group Health Trust Board of Directors.
SUMMARY:
The City continues to contract with PRM to provide health insurance for employees and their families. Per the contract, the City must appoint two employees to serve as representatives on the Board of Directors. The Director of Finance, Johnna Morris, serves as the appointed representative but, due to Necole Cooper's retirement, the City's alternate representation needs to be updated.
RECOMMENDATION:
Appoint Junelly Jimenez-Sebastiano, Payroll and Benefits Coordinator, to serve as the City's alternate representative on the Public Risk Management Group Trust Health Board of Directors.
ALTERNATIVES:
Deny the request and appoint another employee.
