SUBJECT:
Approval to award the Avenue D and Means Court Parking Lot construction contract to the low bidder, Close Construction Services, LLC, in an amount not to exceed $385,610.50.
SUMMARY:
The project includes the construction of a pervious paver public parking lot which will accommodate seventeen vehicles. The parking lot is to be constructed at the southeast corner of Avenue D and Means Court and will include curbing, landscaping, site lighting, custom bike rack, and pedestrian access to Avenue D.
Note: The actual bid amount provided by the low bidder, Close Construction, was increased by $5.00 to a total bid of $385,610.50 due to an error in the original bid.

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends awarding the contract to the low bidder, Close Construction Services, LLC.
