SUBJECT:
Approval of Contract for Analysis of Law Enforcement Services with Center for Public Safety Management, LLC for the amount of $78,500 fee plus the costs of travel and in-person attendance.
SUMMARY:
At the July 8, 2024 Budget Workshop, the City Commission directed the City Manager to provide a police staffing assessment consultant and to provide scope and proposal to the City Commission for their review and approval.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approving the contract with CPSM because it is the exclusive provider of public safety technical assistance for the International City/County Management Association.
ALTERNATIVES:
Staff will proceed as directed by the City Commission.
