Approval of Interlocal Agreement between St. Lucie County and the City of Fort Pierce on Non-Annexation of Airport Property. 

The City and County agreed that the County would allow us to annex the Treasure Coast Education, Research and Development Authority (TCERDA) property in exchange for an agreement to NOT annex airport property inside the gates.  The TCERDA agreement was approved. This is the agreement to not annex the airport property. The County will not execute the interlocal agreement allowing the City to annex TCERDA property until the agreement is approved.

The annexation of TCERDA property is important to our overall annexation strategy.

Staff recommends Approval of Agreement. 

Staff will proceed as directed by the City Commission.
