SUBJECT:
Approval of Kimley-Horn Specific Authorization No. 8 in the amount of $35,000 for Residential Rehabilitation Environmental Reviews
SUMMARY:
Staff requests authorization to proceed with Kimley-Horn, Inc to prepare environmental reviews for eight (8) selected homes for residential rehabilitation as proposed in the 2023-2024 program year to assist in the elimination of slum and blight in the City of Fort Pierce. The environmental reviews are required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development - CDBG for all projects undertaken by the City of Fort Pierce.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this Specific Authorization.
ALTERNATIVES:
Deny and contract with another continuing service consultant.
