SUBJECT:

Approval of Change Order No. 13 - General Contractor Services, Second Floor Leveling in the amount of $8,385.68 for the City of Fort Pierce Florida Highwaymen Museum renovation project.

SUMMARY:

Following the March 11, 2025 FPRA Board Meeting, the Board reached consensus to proceed with Option 2—leveling the entire second floor to address trip hazards and improve accessibility. In alignment with this recommendation and to maintain project momentum, Journey completed the second-floor leveling work. It is important to note that Change Order No. 7 for floor leveling and floating covered only the first-floor leveling scope.

This item will also be presented to the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Board due to ownership and funding interests. 

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approving Change Order No. 13 in the amount of $8,385.68. The work has been completed.
 

ALTERNATIVES:

Staff will proceed as directed by the City Commission.
