SUBJECT:
Approval of a reimbursable grant agreement with Jesus is King Church, Inc. for the installation of a commercial sign at 2001 Orange Avenue, in the amount of $5,000.00.
SUMMARY:
The proposed improvement at 2001 Orange Avenue by Jesus is King Church, Inc. involves the installation of a 3-foot by 10-foot illuminated wall sign cabinet on the exterior of the property.
At its meeting on October 21, 2025, the FPRA Board approved funding for this application in the form of a reimbursable grant in the amount of $5,000.00.
FPRA REDEVELOPMENT GOAL/POLICY:
Goal 7 — The Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency shall increase private sector investment and business development within the Community Redevelopment Area.
Goal 9 — The Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency shall support small businesses, start-up businesses and support entrepreneurial activity within the Redevelopment Area.

RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the grant agreement as presented.

FISCAL IMPACT:
The FPRA Board approved $300,000 in funding for the Commercial Facade Sign program for FY 2025 in July 2024. The FPRA Board approved the award for $5,000 at the 10/21/25 meeting.
