Legislative Hearing - Ordinance 25-034 Voluntary application to extend the territorial limits of the City of Fort Pierce florida to include one (1) parcel located at or near the corner of E. South Market Avenue and S US Highway 1, containing approximately 2.03 acres.  The City Future Land Use designation is General Commercial (GC) and Zoning designation is General Commercial (C-3). Parcel ID: 2434-501-0004-000-5.  SECOND READING

Request to review a Voluntary Application for Annexation by applicant, Keith Team, representing owner, Goose Development Fund, LLC, to annex one (1) parcel of land at or near the intersection of E. Market Ave. and S. US Hwy 1. The Parcel ID is 2434-501-0004-000-5

RECOMMENDATION:

RECOMMENDATION

At the October 13th, 2025, Planning Board meeting, it was approved to move the annexation application forward to City Commission

Staff has confirmed that the property is located within unincorporated St. Lucie County and is contiguous to the Fort Pierce City municipal boundary and within the FPUA service area.

Staff’s recommendation is for the City Commission to Approve the annexation application with the proposed FLU and Zoning designation.
