SUMMARY:
The Public Works Department respectfully requests approval to award Bid No. 2025-039 Landscape Maintenance of Medians to Elite Landscaping Services, Inc., dba Partnership Landscaping, Wellington, FL, in the annual amount of $86,400.00. This solicitation was issued for the maintenance of medians and was sent to 717 vendors. Out of the 40 vendors that requested full specifications, 9 submitted responses. However, 2 of these responses were deemed non-responsive because they failed to provide full and conforming proposals.
Comprehensive reference checks were conducted for the vendor, and all responses were positive. The reference evaluations confirm that Elite Landscaping Services, Inc., doing business as Partnership Landscaping, has a proven history of reliability, satisfactory performance, and successful completion of similar projects for other municipalities. Additionally, the vendor demonstrated that it possesses the necessary equipment, operational capacity, and technical expertise to meet all the requirements outlined in the bid proposal.
Based on these qualifications, Elite Landscaping Services, Inc., dba Partnership Landscaping, was determined to be fully capable of performing the work in a manner that aligns with the project specifications and serves the best interest of the agency. The experience and capabilities of the vendor to deliver the services identified in the scope of work justify the $3,400.00 difference between their bid and the lowest bidder.
