SUBJECT:
Approval of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Supplemental Agreement No. 1 Extending Jetty License Agreement No. DACW17-3-21-0001 for the Operation of Jetty Linear Park by one (1) additional year to December 13, 2026.
SUMMARY:
The City is currently working on extending its existing License Agreement No. DACW17-3-21-0001 for an additional five years to continue operating Jetty Linear Park. In staff discussions with the Army Corps of Engineers, a new agreement will be necessary for an extended term. However, due to the time it is taking for them to provide a new agreement, they have provided a supplemental agreement as an extension of the license. This extension will prolong the existing license for an additional year, preventing any expiration and allowing sufficient time to establish a new agreement. The license expires on December 13, 2025.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Supplemental Agreement No. 1
